On 25 October 2026, Shivanjali Mahakaleshwar Trust celebrated its Foundation Day with a grand opening ceremony. Around 400 guests came, among them leaders and respected people who work for society. More than 5,000 people had lunch at the ceremony, and over 120 people became members of the trust in the very first hour.
The trust began in memory of the late Naveen Rao, with a simple aim: to help children stay in school and to stand by families in need. Under the leadership of its founder and president, Ravinder Sangwan, this day was the first big step on that road, and it belonged to everyone who came.
Chief guest
Dushyant Chautala, former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana
We were honoured to have Dushyant Chautala, former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, as the chief guest of our opening ceremony. He gave us his time on our very first big day, and his presence made the occasion special for every family and every volunteer.
The trust presented him with a framed portrait of Baba Mahakal, and he was welcomed with a saffron scarf printed with “Jai Shri Mahakal”. He sat among the guests, spoke to the gathering, and was blessed by an elderly mother in the crowd.
Thank you, sir, for gracing our Foundation Day.
Welcoming our guests with a portrait of Baba Mahakal
On stage, the trust presented many of its guests with a framed portrait of Baba Mahakal, marked “Presented by Shivanjali Mahakaleshwar Trust”. It is a small way of saying thank you, and the photos below show some of those moments.
